My name is Mauro Gonzalez and I recently developed a plugin to add Google Friend Connect social features to Wordpress blogs. This plugin allows your visitors to log in using their external accounts and comment on your posts using the classic Wordpress comments mechanism.
If desired, Wordpress comments can be replaced by a Google Friend Connect comments gadget, each post still has its individual comments, and the comments moderation is performed form the site settings section at your Google Friend Connect account.
n both cases, comment entries display the user profile picture and grant access to the user’s profile.
In addition, two social gadgets are availabe to be added to the blog, such as Social Bar, and Members gadget which behaves as a Wordpress sidebar widget.
All of the plugin features, as well as the social gadgets color scheme, size, and labels are easily configurable via admin panel, using regular Wordpress admin interfaces.
The plugin installation does not require any programming skills at all, you can get it at Google Code at (link: TBD)
